Michael Martin

Michael Anthony Martin (Tony) 57, of McCune, KS passed away early morning on June 9, 2022. Tony was born March 30, 1965, in Simi Valley, CA the son of Clarence Martin and Marilyn Martin Sprague. Tony has lived in the Oswego area most of his life graduating from Oswego High School in 1983. On July 15, 2006, Tony married Kanah Armstrong Martin in Pittsburg, KS; she proceeded to him in death on June 10th, 2017. Tony was a member of the Oswego golf association and West Mineral Eagles. Tony had an avid love for hunting, fishing, and golfing. And you could always find him at Spriggs barn watching the Chiefs. Most of all, he was known for being a fantastic father to his two daughters, being their biggest fan at every sporting and schooling event.

Survivors include his children Kailynn Renee Martin and Kymbree Jane Martin of McCune, KS; siblings Tracy Riddle and Husband Dean Riddle of Chetopa, KS; Nephew Brett Messer and his wife Krystine Messer and two daughters Kadence and Katrina Messer of Pittsburg, KS. Nephew, Chris Messer, and son, Tucker Messer of Pittsburg, KS; Nephew Josh Titus and Wife Natalie Titus and daughter, Jayla Titus of Bristow, Ok. Tony was preceded in death by his beloved wife Kanah Armstrong Martin. His parents Clarence Martin and Marilyn Sprague. His sister-in-laws Mandy Karsteter and Kimberly Spurling.

Celebration of life will be held Thursday June 16, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. at West Mineral Eagles. 106 Olive St, West mineral, Ks, 66782.

    I so needed your love and ki dindness but I guess we needed differently.but no the less I loved.i was denied,but hope is what keeps.me thru.wish you could of seen thru my heart.how much I wanted girls in my life.but just didn’t measure up to standards.guess what little brother.youve reached tour standard.give day a big squeeze for.me.and.mitzi.kaanah.life dealt you a tuff hand Tony but you played your cards well..I so wish I could of fixed this stopped this traded so girls can be with their daddy.thats all I wanted..I wanted to see you.like the day you hit the train and God told me you’ll be ok.there you were smile ND that finger and my baby brother still with me I thought you’d always be ND ik thi ings fix theirself
    We serve a good God..I. never giving up on.my nieces who I love dearly myc hildren and grandchildren and daughter in laws.my prayers are still thesame..o e for an d all for one God..I am going g to.miss you.i do miss you.i just can’t thi k.i want.my Bobby home.your sister with all the love I can muster
