Paul, loving father, grandfather and friend, is a very sad loss to all. Condolences and prayers to each of you. May your many memories of love and humor shared with him bring you comfort and peace of heart.

Paul Howard Fleming was a kind, compassionate and fun-loving brother, mentor and friend. He will be remembered for his ability to overcome adversity while keeping a good sense of humor. He served his country with dedication and distinction in the US Army during the Vietnam War and continued to touch the lives of those who knew him in the decades to follow. He is a father and grandfather, survived by his son Eric and daughter Tara of Joplin, Missouri, as well as his sister Deborah Snuffer of Pelion, South Carolina, and his brother Bruce Fleming of Ashburn, Virginia. Our entire family is grieved that he is no longer with us, but comforted in the knowledge that he lived a good life and will continue to inspire us to live our lives to the fullest no matter what challenges and trumphs come our way. Paul, we miss you and will always love you. God bless you.

I’m proud of my Dad, and thankful for each and every moment I spent with him. It is with a heavy heart, but, I hope we can find the strength to celebrate the life of Paul Fleming, a man who touched the hearts of so many and left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Paul was a kind and compassionate soul, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His warmth and generosity were unmatched, and his love for his family and friends knew no bounds. He had a way of making everyone around him feel special, loved, and appreciated.

But Paul was not only a kind and loving person. He was also an incredibly funny and witty man who could bring a smile to anyone’s face with his quick wit and infectious laughter. He had a unique ability to find humor in any situation, even the most challenging ones.

Throughout his life, Paul faced many challenges, but he always found a way to overcome them with grace and resilience. His strength and determination were an inspiration to all who knew him, and his unwavering positivity and optimism in the face of adversity were nothing short of remarkable.

As we remember and honor Paul, let us celebrate the many ways in which he touched our lives and made the world a better place. Let us cherish the memories we have of him and keep his spirit alive by living our own lives with the same kindness, compassion, humor, and resilience that he embodied.

Rest in peace, Paul Fleming. You were the absolute best. I love you more than any words can express. You are my hero, Dad. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Thank you for being my Dad!

Paul Fleming will always hold a special place in my heart as he is the father of my best friend, Eric. Over the years from childhood to adulthood he was always a great guy to be around. From his story telling to his cheesy dad jokes he always maintained a positive outlook and seemed to live a relatively stress free easy going life. As someone that shared the same excitement for the Kansas City Chiefs football team, I am so glad we got to experience a Chiefs Super Bowl victory together in the same room. He will be missed by so many. Love and miss you, Paul.

    “You still be my friend”

Paul Fleming,my big brother, whom I looked up to as I was growing up , has taken the next step in the procession of life. As his little sister I was always so proud of him . He had such a gift of wit and enjoyed subtle comedy. My little girlfriends had crushes on him frequently. I remember him as a strict babysitter , making sure my younger brother , Bruce , andI brushed our teeth , as he would say , ‘ so they don’t get cavities or fall out ‘ . Paul was mostly a quiet man but had a stubborn streak that would show up at times . He served in Vietnam after finishing high school . Following the military , he went on to his career and family life . He loved and checked in frequently with his children and family over the years ending conversation with ‘ Love you more’. This became a trademark between the two of us. He loved traveling and going to the beach , just listening to the ocean waves . I am missing Paul though he will be with me for the rest of my life through his spirit and inspiration. REST IN PEACE ,big brother, I’m glad you were MY big brother!

Paul, you were a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather.
We had almost 10 years together as husband and wife during which time we have two beautiful children–Eric and Tara.
Even though we divorced, we were able to build a friendship and help each other when there was a need. I will always remember and cherish the good times that we had.
Your honor and care for your family, friends, and country will be remembered and talked about. You were proud to have served your country during the Vietnam War and we were all grateful for that.
Your sense of humor and wit will also be remembered. It carried you through the challenging times in your life which you also did in a positive manner.
You will be missed by many.
    Rest in peace, Paul.
