Arlen Don Favinger

Arlen Don Favinger November 19, 1963 — June 10, 2024 Arlen Favinger, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024, in Grove, Oklahoma. Born on November 19, 1963, in Hoxie, Kansas, he was the son of Donald Favinger and Mona Brady. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being outdoors whether it was for recreation or yard work. Arlen was known for his love of the Kansas City Chiefs and was able to bring comradery between those who also shared his passion. 

Arlen was preceded in death by his significant other of many years, Henryetta Lyman, father Donald Favinger, as well as by his brother Bevan Favinger. Their memories will forever be held close by those who loved them. 

Arlens’s legacy also lives on through his sons Floyd Taylor of Stilwell, OK; Cody Taylor of Tahlequah, OK; daughters, Alana Taylor of Stilwell, OK, Taryn Taylor of Tahlequah, OK, Sara Ehrlich and husband James of Ellis, KS, Amy Favinger of Hill City, KS, and Twelve grandchildren – Haylei, Jaryn, Erika, Hannah, Cole, Jastin, Levi, Jaxtin, Jack, Axen, Journilyn and Lyra. Arlen is also survived by a large extended family who will miss him dearly. His mom, Mona Brady of Hill City, KS, and brother Terry Favinger and wife Roberta of Wilson, KS. All arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO.
