Catherine Anita Huffhine, 66, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family, on May 14, 2022.
She was met at the gates of heaven by her father and two siblings (Marion Downey, Franklin Luett Jr.).
Catherine was an amazing daughter (Judy Luett, mother and Frank Luett, father), a wonderful sister to 9 siblings (Colleen Hansen, Julie Crider, Debra Parkmann, Tara Harrah, Jerry Busch, Dale Luett, Darla Lebold), and a caring grandmother to four grandchildren (Chelsea Canepa, Kaiden Canepa, Charliegh Huffhine, Benjamin F. Swoyer).
Catherine was a woman of many hobbies. She loved to make handmade gifts and enjoyed sewing and embroidery. She also would often find joy in telling stories about her life growing up and traveling as an adult with her children.
catherine had a light in her that can only be explained as the love of Christ. That love radiated from her and could be felt by everyone who met her. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 28th, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 600 East 50th St., Joplin, Mo with Pastor Scott Hawkins.
