Charles R. (Rick) Gardner, Jr., age 70 of Oronogo, Mo passed away May 1, 2025 at NHC nursing home , Joplin, MO.
He was born Dec. 6, 1954, parents Charles Richard Gardner, Sr. & Barbara Jean Manning
He attended school in Joplin, graduating in 1972 at Memorial High School.
He married Jayne Halfacre Aug. 23, 1974.
He worked at Cardinal Scales , Webb City, MO for 30 + years as a machinist.
Rick enjoyed woodworking, Amateur radio,music, model railroading and watching the real trains too!
When growing up he loved spending time with his grandparents , Dudley & Bernadine Welton camping & fishing.
Rick was in Boy Scouts and he was an Eagle Scout.
Rick is survived by wife, Jayne, brother , Steve Gardner & wife Roi Ann, Neosho, MO , brother in law, Raymond Johnson and wife Joanna, Seneca , MO and nieces and nephews.
He will be cremated at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery ,
