Dana Sexton, 53, passed away June 27, 2024. She was born on October 3, 1970.
Dana was a devoted mother and grandmother whom she loved dearly. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great pride in the time she got to spend with them. She enjoyed antique shopping, playing bingo, cooking big meals for her family (mainly her famous lasagna), baking Christmas candies and enjoying the outdoors.
A woman of faith, Dana was an active member of Buffalo Creek Church, where she found community and spiritual fulfillment.
Dana is survived by her four children: Tiffany Childers and husband Nick Childers of Seneca, MO; Shyla Brauch and husband Dalton Brauch of Jefferson City, MO; Michael Stribling and wife Kimberly Stribling of Washburn, MO; and Michelle Robertson and husband Dustin Robertson of Goodman, MO. She also leaves behind 11 cherished grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Dana is further survived by her brothers, Michael Deivernois and Kurt Foster, and her sisters, Tammi Arrington and Elaine Deivernois. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Foster. Dana’s loving presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A celebration of life will be held at Friday, July 5, 2024 from 5-8pm at the Buffalo Creek Baptist Church. All arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO.
