Lovingly written by the family.
Celebrating the life of Epifanio Garza who was born on April 7, 1938, to Luis and Jesusa Zamora Garza in Reynosa, Mexico. He became a US citizen in 1953 where he soon met the love of his life Estella Muniz. They got married in 1958. Epifanio was a man of many traits. He enjoyed working on cars and playing his accordion was his favorite past time. He loved to entertain everyone around at family gatherings or if you happen to be visiting with his musical talents using his accordion or guitar and singing too.
Epifanio spent most of his life helping family when needed and loved helping his boy’s doing mechanics. he relished being at family gatherings where he was surrounded by those he loved. Epifanio and Estella were blessed with 14 children, Juan J (Lynetta), San Juanita (Ruben) Ramiro (Maria), Rosanna (Curtis), Estella, Epifanio Jr. (Delia), Anita, Maria (Juan), Esmeralda (Anthony), Arnold, Humberto (Kristy), Rolando, Diana and Jamie. Dad also had 40 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Dad was always loving and in his own way he showed us how to be positive in any situation. One of his favorite sayings was, “Pa que se enojen” meaning why be angry or why get mad and he would be smiling with a resolution to follow.
Dad gained his wings on December 2, 2022, at 12:12 am. Dad is proceeded in death by his mom, dad brothers, sisters his son Rolando and his daughter Anita. Our father has left a mark with how he lived his life. His legacy of love and understanding will continue in his children and grandchildren
