    Hey dad,

I hope you are resting easy where you are. As I told you before, no matter the distance, I will always love you. I will always miss you. I will always think of you now and again. I know it was hard. Life is hard. And I know you didn’t love yourself enough. But I hope that in the last few weeks you could feel like you did. Because we were there to show you how loved you really are. I hope it helped to fill your soul, even if just a little.

You taught me how to be independent. How to be brave. How to handle things when the going got tough. And most of all, you taught me how to be humble when needed. And…

You were right. It was hard. Really hard… But just know that if I knew what I know now, and I was given the choice to do it all over again… I would. Without a second thought in my mind, I would.

I love you dad, and I always will. Thank you, and I will see you again.

    Love,

    Tori
