Geraldine Jo Cantrell, born March 15,1937 in Pitcher Oklahoma to Floyd William Stukey and
Dorthy Mildred Crossland.
Passed from this life into the promised land of her Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus on July
19, 2024 in the home of her daughter, having been ill for several years. Married to Willis David
Cantrell on December 16, 1955 together they presented unto the Lord, four children, Sherri
Lynn Collier (Jerry), Willis (David) Cantrell (Curran), Dorthy Joyce Rhodes (Wesley),Matthew
Dale Cantrell.
In the years spent raising her children, the most memorable of which were on the farm in
the Waco farm community, Gifted by her, to her children, her family, in-laws and their
respective families.
Many holidays and weekend meals turned into great family get-togethers, that she hosted
with great design and care. Being a very creative and intelligent mother, she saw to it that her
children learned to be self sufficient and responsible. Both she and her husband made sure to
keep their children raised in the way of our GOD, so as to bring all glory and praise to him. Many
were the selfless hours she spent on her Family, (both at home and church) was the virtue of
her service to God the Father. A service of celebration of her entering into her eternal home
with Christ Jesus will be on August 9, 2024 at 1PM (Graveside Service) All arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery/Crematory of Joplin, MO.
