John W. Lynch Sr. was born October 11, 1948 in Sunbright, Tennessee to Eugene and Glenice Lynch. He married Bernice Thorn Lynch in December 1966. He is survived by Bernice Thorn Lynch, four daughters, Johnna (Craig) Sweet, Shelly Lynch, Kelly (John) Johnson, Valerie (Luis) Popblete. Thirteen grandchildren, Maverick, Cheree, Christina, Tito, Hailey, Megan, Jacob, Andrew, Cecilia, Manuel, Christian, Sidney, Brennan, and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, John W. Lynch Jr., brothers, Jerry Lynch, Ray Peters as well as his parents. He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
A special thank you to his granddaughter Christina Couch for making him comfortable until the end, and his daughter Shelly Lynch for her caring for him. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO.
