It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Josephine Baker (JoAnn) Baker. She fought a long courageous battle against an evil disease and can now rest in peace. She was surrounded by family and friends. We request prayers for peace and comfort for the family in this time of loss. There will not be a funeral or service.
She is survived by two brothers, Clyde and Marilyn Smith of Carthage. Claude and Judy Smith of Arizona. Two daughters, Debbie Baker and Anita and Lou Quinn of Carthage. Four grandkids, six Great-grandkids plus extended family. She is proceeded in death by husband, Lealond Baker. Two sisters and a brother. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO.
