Kathleen Linda Burns was born to Carl E Hoffman and Raydeen Sweet-Moore on April 4, 1948 in Seneca, Missouri. She was one of five children.
She was the mother of six children, Guy Darren Cumpton (Laura), Cindy Ott, James Cumpton, Jenny Cumpton all of Garden City, Missouri, Rebecca Burns of Joplin, Missouri, and Kyle Burns (Jen) of Chelsea Oklahoma. She had 11 grand children, Jacob, Kayla (Rory), Kara, Kendra, Emma (Philip), Joshua, Karlie, Christopher, Melanie, Kyle Jr and Kaitlyn. Three great-grandchildren, Eli, Arya and Aleigha.
She is proceeded in death by father Carl, mother Raydeen and brother Harold.
Kathy loved her children and family. She was always doing crafts and DIY projects. Her best days were on the river with family and friends. If you knew her you knew you always had a place to go and food to eat and a lending ear to help you on your way. She will be missed. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory of Joplin, MO.
