LeEleene Patty Breitfelder, 72-year-old resident of Bernice, Oklahoma for many years and recently moved to the Vinita, Oklahoma area.
LeEleene was born in Mendocino County, California on March 17, 1952, to Alfred Joseph Sanders and Elsie Ellenore Tramal. She died on October 2, 2024, in Vinita, Oklahoma at her son’s home with him by her side. She attended school in California. LeEleene will be remembered for her love of her dogs which she treated as beloved family members.
LeEleene married Roger Paul Matteri in Reno, Nevada on April 18, 1970, and they were blessed with two sons. Corey and Victor Matteri. She then married Russ Breitfelder and got her daughter Beth out of this marriage.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gary Sanders.
She is survived by her two brothers, Leland Sanders of Florida and Beryl Sanders of California and one sister, Darlene Birky of California, two sons, Corey Matteri and his wife Allison of Kansas and Victor Keith Matteri and life partner Ruby of the home. one daughter, Beth Breitfelder of Grove, Oklahoma. two Granddaughters, Hallie Matteri of Kansas and Fawynia Helms of Vinita, five Grandsons, Lance Matteri and wife Nataliya of Missouri, Michael Matteri of Vinita, Donavan Matteri of Missouri and Victor Matteri Jr. of Vinita and Lawrence (LT) Matteri of Oklahoma, one Great-grandchild, Aiden Matteri and a special daughter, LaDonna Morrison. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO.
