It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary “Mickey”- “Margie” Marguerite Hosp, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who left this world on May 3rd, 2025. Born on April 28, 1936, in Picher, Oklahoma, Mary lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Mary was a devoted mother to her children: Greg Hosp and his wife Tammy, Chris Hosp and his wife Kim, and Kellie Reynolds and her husband Chris and Michael Hosp who proceeds her in death. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support were the cornerstones of her family, and she took immense pride in watching her children grow into the remarkable individuals they are today.
As a grandmother, Mary’s heart expanded even further. She was the proud grandmother of Dakota Hosp, Preston Denney, Emily Reynolds, John Hosp, Lije Hosp, and Miranda Hosp, and she delighted in the joy of her 11 great-grandchildren. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John Hosp, her father Eddie Banks and her mother Mary Koronis. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved them, and Mary’s strength and resilience in the face of loss serve as an inspiration to her family.
Mary’s warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and loved.
She was not only a mother to her own children but also embraced their friends as her own, creating a welcoming home filled with laughter and love. Her nurturing spirit and commitment to her family were evident in every school function she attended and every moment she spent with her children and their friends.
