Maryann L. Adamson Watson

No services will be at this time, but the family will have a private gathering at a later date. Maryann Adamson Watson of Diamond, Mo (formerly of Santa Maria, Ca.) passed away on Wednesday January 15, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born on March 11, 1941, in Presque Isle Me. She moved from Maine at the age of 17 as a military wife and lived in many of the states until landing in California where she remained until May of 2023 when she moved to Missouri to be closer to her family. She was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and was surrounded by her family until her passing.
Maryann was a homemaker in her early years while raising her 4 children, but during that time also raised and showed dogs in obedience and confirmation. Later on, she started her own business and was a dog trainer for several decades. She would then move on and do demos for Food 4 less, which she thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the new people and having all kinds of conversations. From there she moved on and worked in a doctor’s office as an assistant, from which she retired and moved to the Salinas, Ca. area.
Maryann was preceded in death by her husband Voye J Watson of 18 yrs, both her parents, and her 7 other brothers and sister. She is survived by her Son Mark Koplaski of South Huston, Tx., daughter Juanita Ardis of South Carolina, daughter Karen Bicknell of Diamond, Mo., and daughter Faith Goulette, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Maryann lived most of her life in California on the central coast but had recently moved to Missouri to be closer to family. She loved her roses and her flower gardens and her animals. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory of Joplin, MO
