Joplin, MO — Matthew Garry Cunningham, age 52, a maintenance worker, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022. Matthew was born on April 14, 1970, in Turlock, California to Duane and Karen Cunningham. Matthew married Jennifer Davidson and of this union came one daughter, Melody A. Cunningham of Springfield, MO, and a son, Matthew G. Cunningham, Jr. of Joplin, MO.
Matthew is preceded in death by his mother, Karen and sister, Cindy. Along with his father, Duane Cunningham of Jerico Springs, MO, he is survived by his ex-wife and two children, brothers, Rick (Tess) of Bethel, AK, Carl (Hannah) of Diamond, MO, and several nieces and nephews along with numerous extended family members and friends, including Holley, Kevin and Devin from Alaska, Rick (Chelsey) Cunningham, Abilene, TX, Payton and Charlie Cunningham of Diamond, MO.
