Misty Dawn York “Melugin” age 45 of Republic, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2025 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Misty was born January 7, 1979, to Jacki Lynn York and Gregory Allen Venturella
Misty attended Nursing school at MSSU and worked in home health care and hospice care for several years until the last few years she was a homemaker.

14 years ago, Misty met Dale Melugin and together they have their son Jacob Melugin age 7
Misty has 3 children Samantha Nelson, Cynthia Nelson, and one son, Jacob Melugin
Misty was preceded in death by both of her parents, grandmother ba ba and Grandfather William Howard York

She is survived by two daughters, Samantha Nelson, Cynthia Nelson and one son, Jacob Melugin, seven grandchildren, Melody Johnson, Reece Johnson, Poet Johnson, Ezra Johnson, Cruz Lane, Penelope Lowry, Stevie Lowry, two sisters, Jennifer Marshall and Megan Ward and one brother, Joseph Livingston.
Celebration of life service will be held at Galena Assembly of God church located at 500 Galena Ave. Galena Kansas on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 2 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory of Joplin, MO
