Randall Francis

Randall Francis, 81, of Joplin, went home to be with the Lord on March 25th, 2025. A devoted man of faith, Randall was an avid churchgoer and found great joy in playing gospel music for his congregation.

Born on June 10th, 1943, to his beloved mother, Ruth Maschewski, who preceded him in passing, Randall lived a life of love, service, and devotion to his family and faith. He is survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Francis; his sister, Annie; his son, Dustin; and his stepdaughter, Jill. Randall’s legacy continues through his grandchildren Amber, Shey, Jessie, Luke, Lane, Tyler, and Cassie, as well as his three great-grandchildren, Keara, Brailee, and Kaisen, who will always remember his wisdom, warmth, and unwavering love.

Randall’s life was a testament to faith, family, and music. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will forever be felt in the songs he played and the love he shared. A service honoring his life will be held at Royal Heights Baptist on April 19th, 2025 at 3pm.

May he rest in peace, his soul forever rejoicing in the heavenly choir. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory of Joplin, MO

Rest in peace my dear Uncle Rannie – you are at the heart of some of my favorite childhood memories. The twinkle in your eyes, and the pure joy you shared with your music will live on in our hearts. We will miss your love and good heart but you will always be with us. There is peace knowing you are with Grandma and Grandpa and in the arms of our Lord.
My heart and prayers go out to Barbara and my mom Annie.

Randall was an absolutely wonderful and genuinely caring neighbor and friend, always ready to jump in and help with anything & everything without being asked. A True Christian who exclaimed his Love for God & Jesus, Barbara, his grandkids, & LIFE! One of the few men who walked the walk and talked the talk. May God comfort his Barb and his family and friends. We will miss you and your integrity, energy, sense of humor, your true love of life, praise God for your friendship! Live it up Randall, You so deserve it, Sing The Praises Of God for all of Us!!!
