Randy Lee Bailey

Randy Lee Bailey, 55, Richards, MO, passed on Thursday, September 12, 2024 in Richards at his home, following a sudden terminal illness. He was born July 4, 1969 in Fort Scott, KS, to Ralph Bailey and Gerry (Ballou) Bailey. Randy married Christy Chapman April 6, 1991 in Nevada, MO. He graduated from Nevada High School in class of ’87. Randy started his working career at KEY Apparel following graduation. He remained there until 2017. He then went to work at Henry Kraft, Inc. until his passing.
Randy was proceeded in death by his mother Anna Geraldine “Gerry” Bailey. He is survived by his wife Christy (Chapman) Bailey, Richards, MO; two daughters Nicole Bailey and partner Anthony LaBruna, Richards, MO; and Danielle (Bailey) Majors and husband Clifton “Blake” Majors; two grandsons Hunter Majors and Rowan Majors; father Ralph Bailey and step-mother Lois Bailey; brother Lonnie Bailey and wife Liz Bailey. He is further survived by his neices, nephews, and many more loved ones close to his heart.
Randy had a full life filled with love from his family and friends. He traveled to the farthest reaches of the world; helping others and touching the hearts of those from here in America to Mexico and even to China. He had a competitive nature that shined in his love for racing, football, tractor pulling, and go-karting, although his hobbies were many more. He lived life carefree and always put family first. His humble and gentle soul made such a lasting impression that touched everyone he met. His light and memories will be with all of us forever. To those that wish to celebrate his life with us: arrangements will be made at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO.
