Rebecca “Becky” Rogers

Rebecca “Becky” Rogers, 71, passed away on January 13, 2025, in Joplin, Missouri, surrounded by her loved ones after enduring health complications. Becky is lovingly remembered by her children: Scott and Diesha Rogers of Inglis, Florida; Sean and Jamie Rogers of Springdale, Arkansas; and Laurie Vlazquez of Kansas City; her mother, Shirley Blanton of Coal Hill, Arkansas; brother, Rick Blanton of Winchester, Kansas, her sisters, Terry McPhearson of Topeka, Kansas, and Tammi Robinson of Coal Hill, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Emilie Betts of Neosho, Missouri, Nicholas Rogers of Neosho, Missouri, Brandon Rogers of Noel, Missouri, Hunter Rogers of Springdale, Arkansas, Silas Rogers of Springdale, Arkansas, Laila Anne of Colorado, and Liberty of Kansas City; and her devoted boyfriend, Troy Mullin.

Becky was preceded in death by her father, Russell Blanton, and her sister, Cheryl Mullin.
Born in Basehor, Kansas, Becky was the daughter of Russell and Shirley Blanton. She graduated from
McLouth High School in Kansas, and maintained enduring friendships with her classmates, reaching out to many later in life. Becky was a cherished family woman and a loyal friend. She was a socially active individual, deeply involved with her many beloved ”critters”. Her lifelong passion for animals, particularly horses, was well-known. She enjoyed horseback riding, watching movies with loved ones, and spending time with friends and family. Her family and friends will always remember her as an active horse advocate. Becky will be greatly missed and eternally loved by all who knew her “Always and forever”. She “loves you more.” Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory, Joplin, MO

    I thank you for sending this to me. I have been truly blessed by knowing Becky Rogers. She wasn’t only my best friend, she was my sister. My life became richer when she entered my life, I am still richer because, I still have you and your family in my life.
