**Rodney Alan McAffrey**
May 21, 1962 – August 6, 2024
Rodney Alan McAffrey, beloved father, cherished friend, and devoted husband, passed away on August 6, 2024, Born on May 21, 1962, to Roscoe Lee McAffrey and Betty Jean (Patch), Rodney was known for his kindness, generosity, unwavering support for those he loved and his undying love for his children. His presence brought joy and comfort to everyone around him.
Rodney’s life was marked by his dedication to his family, his love for the simple pleasures in life and. He loved hunting, fishing, and telling lame “dad” jokes. He taught us girls to hunt, fish, do car maintenance, and everything he could think of so that we would never have to rely on a man. He was always telling us that he may not like the choice we make but he would love us unconditionally. He never wanted to see any of sad or upset so he would make faces and jokes especially to the kids. He was the best storyteller and would go on in full dramatization like a one-man stage act. Anything to get anyone around to smile and laugh. He dedicated many years to working at Imperial Vending, where he was service manager. His colleagues and the account managers loved him. His knowledge of Vending machine is unmatched.
He is survived by his wife Stacy (Owen) and children Dana Little (Mat Clark), Stacey Hamilton (Ben), Valan Wallace-Graves (Jeff); and stepdaughters Ivie and Mavis, his grandchildren Andrew, Trey, Hailey, Olivia, Benjamin “Little Ben”, Gatlynn, and Karmyn “Rudy”; great-grandchild Valeree. Siblings Ronnie (Carol), Rudy and Renee(Jim) He was preceded in death by his parents Roscoe (Red) and Betty, his late Wife Rachelle (Depriest) his brothers, Roy and Russell, and his sons-in-laws, Heath and Aaron.
A Celebration of life to honor Rodney’s life will be held on Sept. 7, 2024 from 1-6 PM at Country Charm Venue, 18389 State Hwy 86 Neosho, MO. 64850. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO.

My dad was the most loving, strong, dependable man I have ever known. I feel extremely fortunate to have him for my daddy!! I made him a promise to continue to make him proud every single day. I will teach my children everything he taught me and I will never ever forget him and the love he gave me! I love you daddy…
