Ronald Morris, of Golden City, MO, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, on November 6, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 19, 1967, Ronald was the beloved son of George Ernest Morris and Brenda Joyce Riley.
Ronald worked for over 20 years in concrete construction for Julian Construction, and the past 2 years selling seed for Stine Seed Co.
Ronald was a devout and loving husband to Terri Morris, whom he married in 2016. If you knew Ronald, you knew that his love for his wife was the kind of love most people search a lifetime for. He cherished her and showed it in the way he loved and treated her every day.
Ronald had four wonderful children: Rachel Wood (Tina Mitchell), Tasha McDonald (Mitchell McDonald), Jena Hall (Chase Higgins), and step child: Misty Young (TJ Sullivan). He was also a doting grandfather to seven grandchildren: Alissa Hall, Tayton Bentley, Marissa McDonald, Emma Henderson, Jacklyn Hall, Jaydon Henderson, and Gunner Sullivan.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Ronald. He loved a quiet sunny day on the golf course with his daughters and wife. He could often be found out there, enjoying the fresh air and friendly competition with loved ones. His loving and caring personality was contagious to everyone he met.
There will be a service held on November 16, 2024 at 12:00pm at Stoney Point Church in Jericho Springs, MO, with a celebration of life directly after with family and friends. Food will be provided by Stoney Point Church.
Although we are saddened by his passing, let us take comfort in the memories we shared with Ronald. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO.
