Rose Hines

Dear Friends and Family,

Today, we remember and celebrate the remarkable life of Rose Lee Hines, a beloved member of our community who touched the lives of so many with her warmth and kind spirit.

Rose Hines, born on February 22, 1934, in Oklahoma to Lois and Stanley Pridemore, led a life filled with love, hard work, and dedication. Her passion for horses and farm life shaped her early years, and it was in Missouri where she met her lifelong partner, Kenneth Hines. Together, they birthed 7 children while tending to their family farm and nurturing a variety of animals.

Rose’s professional journey took her from Talbot Wire in Neosho, Mo., where she worked for over a decade, to a successful career in Real Estate Sales. Her commitment to helping families find their forever homes was a testament to her caring nature and strong work ethic, retiring only in her mid-80s. Rose served alongside Shirley Bussey as Secretary /Treasurer of the Maness Cemetary in Neosho for 50+ years.

Despite the challenges she faced, Rose’s love for her family and community never wavered. She took great joy in canning garden goods for her loved ones and caring for her cherished plants both indoors and outdoors.

As we honor Rose’s memory, we also remember those who have gone before her: her parents Lois and Stanley Pridemore, brother Louie Pridemore, sisters Carol Coe and Betty Woodward, two sons David and Timothy Hines, and daughter Peggy Crockett. Rose is survived by her devoted husband Kenneth Hines, three sons – Daniel Hines (Goodman), Don Hines (Anderson), and Bill Hines (Neosho), as well as her daughter Anita Reynolds (Goodman).

Rose’s legacy lives on through her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Her presence in the Goodman community will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire us all.

In this time of mourning, let us hold on to the cherished memories we shared with Rose and find solace in the love she gave and the lives she touched. May she rest in peace. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory, Joplin, MO
