Terri Lynne Flores, age 56, passed away Sunday, December 1st, 2024, in her home surrounded by numerous loved ones.
Terri was born June 14th, 1968, in Cameron, Missouri to her parents Vern and Judith. Terri spent her early childhood years on a farm in a community called Far West, creating many lifetime memories. She graduated high school from Branson, Missouri, eventually making her home in Joplin. She is survived by her parents, Ronald and Judith Williams, and Vern Fields, soulmate Bryan Leachman, children Blake and Jennifer Grisham, Seth and Morgan Box, and her youngest Gabby Girl and her four beautiful granddaughters Charlie, Paige, Harper and Hattie, siblings and best friends, Mitch and Mike, and Shawn and Stacy who she also considered her siblings, and a loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Grandma and Papa, Jack and Kay Hubbard, two uncles, Roger and Gene Hubbard, a niece Amber Hilberling, and a nephew Cody Weatherman.
Some of Terri’s favorite memories were growing up on the farm, playing with cousins and making mud pies with grandma’s eggs. Later in life, you could find Terri soaking up the sun sitting poolside or with her toes in the sand. At home, she enjoyed hosting family and friends, holidays and everything in between. She loved late game nights followed by early morning coffee, as she would say, “Early bird gets the worm.” Terri was boujee on a budget, enjoyed decorating and could make any house a home. She looked forward to days filled with girl time, getting nails done or indulging in well deserved pampering…Sparkle on.
The people that knew her best would describe her as the life of the party. She was loyal, witty, giving, strong willed and had a big heart. Following in the footsteps of a family tradition, you could find her giggling over her latest prank with her favorite victim being BryBry (Love ya Babe). She always filled the room with joy and laughter. She truly was the glue that held the family together.
Terri’s faith in her Creator gave her the strength to face cancer with unwavering fierceness and a resilient, positive attitude. In her final days, surrounded by her family, Terri reassured them that she would be reunited with her Creator and lost loved ones. As she told her mom, “Everything is okay. I’m going to rest for two days and then go back under the stars.” Terri will be deeply missed. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory of Joplin, MO.
