Neosho, MO – Oscar (Bama) Taylor of Neosho, MO entered into rest on August 17, 2022. He was born May 8th, 1958 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the son of JD Taylor and Martha Benjamin.
Bama served as the pastor at Church of Hope in Neosho, MO. He also served in doing God’s work at the Missions Possible by giving and reaching out to those in the community who were in need.
Bama loved the Lord and was very obedient when he felt led to do the works of the Lord. He loved spending time with his family and grandkids.
Bama will be forever loved, deeply missed and always remembered by his wife, Karen Taylor of the home, daughters, Tanya Bogenrief of Neosho, MO, Dwon Pina and husband Fernando Pina of Quapaw, OK and Trisha Bogenrief of Neosho, MO. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Bama is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a daughter, Trenna Clark.
A celebration of life will be held Monday, August 29, 2022 at 5:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Neosho, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park in Joplin.
