Ruby passed to our Lord on June 25, 2024. She was the daughter of Fred Lee Kennison and Adeline Marvia Starbuck Kennison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Donald L Kennison of New Bloomfield, Mo., sister, Doris Jean Thompson of Alba, MO., great-grandson, Gavin Scott (3 months old), and grandson, Jason Allen Scott, and ex-husband, Gerald Raymond Hart.
She is survived by her sisters, Alice McWhorter of Excelsor Springs, MO., Eloise Fletcher of Irwin, MO., and brother, John Kennison of Liberal, Mo., daughter, Dianna Lynn Schneider of Liberal, MO., son, Ronald Wayne Hart of Lamar, MO., son, Wesley Dean Hart of Nevada, MO., and daughter, Brenda Jean Hart of Lamar, MO. 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. All arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO

Although I did not grow up around my grandma and my memories are few and far between, the ones I go have are very sweet. She clearly cared very deeply about her family and always took great care of me when I stayed over. I am saddened by the fact that I will never get the chance to make more memories with her. However, I am comforted by the fact that she is in a pain free place now. I feel lucky that even though my memories of her are limited, I got to have such a lovely and caring grandma and that I have the memories that I do.
