Susan Rodgers

Susan “Sue” Rodgers, a beloved woman who preferred to be called Sue, was born on September 6, 1944, in Anacortes, WA, USA. She passed away on April 4, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and kindness. Susan dedicated her professional life to the restaurant industry, where she touched the lives of countless customers and coworkers. Her warm, welcoming presence was a beacon of joy and comfort for all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Outside of work, Susan’s hobbies included sewing, crocheting, and spending time with the people she loved. Her passion and skill for crafting brought beauty and happiness to those lucky enough to receive one of her creations. Described as an amazing, loving, supportive, and caring person, Susan wore her heart on her sleeve. Her capacity for love and kindness knew no bounds, and she was always there for her family and friends when they needed her most. She is survived by her loving grandchildren, The Riner’s who she took in and her adopted family the Anderson/Bowman her as well as her best friend Evelyn Killman. who will carry on her memory and cherish the time they spent together. Susan’s spirit will continue to live on through the love and kindness she shared with all who knew her.
