Mary Elizabeth Roberts (Daniels) went to her Heavenly Home to be with her Lord on Tuesday April 23, 2024. She was born in Sikeston, MO to the late Leonard and Isabelle Henderson Daniels on April 10, 1952.
Mary was a UAW Retiree of Local 1930 of Dexter, MO where she worked at Arvin Mufflers as an assembly line worker before she retired in the early 90’s due to injury. Mary enjoyed watching movies and crime tv shows especially Criminal Minds and Law and Order SVU and Lifetime Movies and she loved Mickey Mouse. She loved her children and grandchildren and would do anything for them.
She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Hood (Billy Joe Jr., deceased) of Joplin, MO and her son, Jeremy Hook (Jennifer) of Peru, IN. Her Grandchildren, Stephen Payne of Joplin, MO., Kayla Bathe of Joplin, MO, Billy Joe Jr. of Joplin, MO, Ian Hook of Peru, IN., Logan Hook of Peru, IN and Jeremiah Hook of Peru, IN. Her beloved brother and sisters, Verlis Wayne “Dub” Daniels of Carrie, MS, Jesse Oleta (Late Winfred) Whitley of Morehouse, MO, Janet Dianna (Bob) Gallo of Roach, MO, Lela Mae (late Merlin) Rushing of Dexter, MO, Ruth Ann (Dale) Swope of Warrensburg, MO, Karen Sue (David) Ramsey of Essex, MO. And many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who she loved very much!
In addition to her parents Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny Dale Daniels, Alva Clinton Daniels, James Allen Daniels, Alvie Daniels, and her sister, Alice Elwanda Maddox. A Memorial Service will be held on May 7, 2024 at 11:00 am at Ozark Memorial Park Open Air Chapel, 415 N. St. Louis Ave. Joplin, MO. All arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park of Joplin, MO.
