Charles Edward Purcell, age 75, of Webb City, MO. a patient of Freeman Hospital Joplin, went in his heavenly home on December 27, 2023, at 9:41 a.m. Charles was born on April 7, 1948, in Webb City, MO. His parents are Marvin Edward Purcell and Chrystal Faye Mills. He married Felicidad Bartolome on April 20, 1971, in the Philippines. She survives with her daughter Shantell & husband Benny Ora, Son Elvis & wife Melanie Purcell, daughter Jeannifer & husband Ron Duley, Mary Jane & husband Carlos Baluyut, son Tommy & wife Jenny Purcell, all of Webb City, MO, and late daughter Sherry-Ann Purcell. Also surviving are his grandchildren Bryan Ora, Scott & Kathleen Ora, Ellanie & Aaron Hargett, Elvina Purcell, Sherry-Ann Duley, Kian Baluyut, Kyla Baluyut, Chemmy Purcell, Ainslie Purcell, and also 6 great grandchildren.
Mr. Purcell served in the US Navy from 1968-1975. He worked as an auto mechanic for a long
time. He loves fishing and camping. He spent a lot of time working on his train collections.
