Jackie Lynn Begey passed away peacefully at home Friday March 31, 2023, at 73 years of age surrounded by loved ones. She was born to Jack and Marjorie Donaldson on March 6, 1950, in Neosho, Missouri. Jackie was a 1968 graduate of Neosho High School. She married Charles R. Begey later that year. They went their separate ways in 1986 but remained friends.
Jackie is survived by their three children, Todd Begey of Neosho, Missouri, Jason Begey and his wife Michelle of Springfield, Missouri, and Katherine Roger and her husband Stephané of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Troy Begey, Sebastian Roger, Charlotte Roger, and Ethan Reil. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Marjorie Donaldson, and her sisters, Janet Creswell and Donna Schmidt.
Throughout her life she lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, then Plano, Texas, and eventually returned to her hometown of Neosho. Jackie loved her children and grandchildren very much, cherished her time with family, was an avid animal lover (having many pets over the years), enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs, listening to good music, decorating for the holidays, and playing board games. She also enjoyed attending church, helping others, and retired after 25 years of service as a home health aide for Oxford HealthCare. Jackie would always put others first before herself especially her family, whether in sickness or in health. She was always willing to assist others, gave of herself unconditionally, and will be greatly missed. We will love you forever, Mom/Nanna.
