Patricia Christian

Patricia (Miller) Christian, “Aunt Patty,” 70, of Granby, Missouri, passed away, Saturday, December 30, 2023.

A celebration of her life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1226 Ridgewood Rd., Neosho, MO, on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 2 p.m.

The family would like to extend an invitation to join them for a luncheon, immediately following the service.

Patricia was born May 7, 1953, at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas, to Pauline (Pherigo) Miller and Kenneth Miller Sr.

Patricia had a fulfilling career as a truck driver, traveling the country and sharing fascinating stories with those around her. Patty then decided to slow down and stop driving over the road. She sold Avon and Stanley Home Products for many years and worked for Moark. She was also passionate about attending flea markets, where she would buy and sell antiques, trinkets, and other treasures she found. She was known for her welcoming nature and opening her home to anyone in need. Patty will be remembered for her warm heart and generous spirit.

Patricia is survived by brother, Rick Miller of Wichita, KS, brother, Kevin (Betty) Podschun of Burnettsville, IN, sister, Linda Hudson of Neosho, MO, aunts Shirley Kelley of Wichita, KS, and Beverly Reeves of Lincoln, AR, best friends Betsy Cox and husband Dwayne of Springfield, MO, and Evelyn Haines and husband Leroy of Stark City, MO, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous dear friends who she considered family.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband John Christian III, parents Pauline (Pherigo) Miller and Kenneth Miller Sr., brother Kenneth Miller Jr., sister-in-law Bobbi Miller, brother-in-law, Bruce Hudson and niece, Kandy Miller Fairchild.

Arrangements are under the direction of Ozark Memorial Park Crematory of Joplin, Mo.
