Rusty Duane Myers ran into the arms of Jesus, his maker and fellow carpenter, Tuesday April 11, 2023, at 2:05 pm.
Rusty enjoyed his life beyond any mark that could be found on his favorite tape measure. He was an incredibly goofy and loving man who loved Jesus with his whole being. He was a fish whispering, gearhead, motorcycle riding, lift kit installing, guitar pickin’, arrowhead carving and booger pickin’ hell of a guy. Most of all, a brother to all, blood or not. If you couldn’t find him at home, he was at Mo-Kan, the part store or the riverbanks.
Rusty is survived and loved by his mom, Dorothy J. Morrison and siblings Susie and Robert Coen of Carthage, Mo; Karen and James Graham of Alba, Mo; Jennifer and David True of Alba, Mo; Megan and Alex Saba of Carthage, Mo; Harley and Katrina Myers of Oronogo, Mo, Dustin & Maria Chisholm Garrett a bonus mom, Jodi Chisholm of Lake Jimerson In, so many nieces, nephews and their babies too.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father Susan Elaine Ruppert and Camden Keith Myers and his favorite Aunt Madalene.
A graveside service will be held on May 7th at 2:00pm at Purcell Friend Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life at 401 Smith Street, Alba, Mo, 64830.
