Betty McDonough

Betty Marie Mcdonough 72, passed away on January 21st, 2024 at home with her family. She was the widow of Eugene W. Mcdonough who passed away on May 22nd, 1999. 

  She was born on January 16th, 1952 in Perry Oklahoma, She was the daughter of Bessie Johnson and Ralph Williams. She was employed at Eastern State Hospital she worked there for many years until she retired. She was an active member of shoal Creek revival which she attended every Sunday until she became to sick to attend.

  Betty is survived by her daughter Beverly Stoner of Granby Missouri  husband Richard Sims, and her other daughter Peggy Mcdonough of Billings Montana, and daughter in law Jamie Askins of Illinois. Grandchildren Cody Rowe and his wife Kaneesha Rowe of Miami Oklahoma, Rebecca Rowe of Chelsea Oklahoma, Austin Stoner of Granby Missouri, Destiny Sims of texas, Maggie Howard Sims of Granby Missouri, Cameron Givens of Vinita Oklahoma, Michael Mcdonough of Vinita Oklahoma, Chelsea Mcdonough, Zachary Harvell, Jacob Mcdonough, Ashley Mcdonough, Lane Mcdonough, Kinzie Mcdonough, Johnna Mcdonough, and 20 Great Grandkids.

      She is proceeded in death by her parents and siblings also her daughter Brenda F. Mcdonough, her son Billy E. Mcdonough, and beloved grandson Dalton W. Sims.

  Betty Marie Mcdonough was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and Aunt she will always be loved and missed.

The celebration of life will be held on February 4th, 2024 at 12:30pm at Shoal Creek Revival in Granby Missouri.

       “Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pour through and shine down upon us to let us know they are at peace and happy.”

    So very sorry. Betty was a wonderful lady and loved y’all tremendously. My prayers are with y’all and I know the Lord is with y’all and will continue to help y’all through this sorrowful time. We all know she’s in heaven with Dalton and happy. No more sickness or pain. Love y’all!
